πŸ“œ Past Tense 

◾ Definition Of Past Tense

Use Past Tense to express  events that accoured and ended / finished in the past at a certain time .

◾ Sentence Patterns 

Subject + Past form (Verb 2 ) + Complement 

◾ Example Sentence :

( + ) I watched Superman vs Batman last week.

( + )  I slept at 9 pm last night

( - ) I didn’t write him a letter last month

( - ) I didn’t called him last Monday

( ? )  Did you arrive at the airport yesterday?

( ? )  Did you see me in the market last Saturday ?

πŸ“œ Present Perfect Tense 

◾ Definition Of Present Perfect Tense 

Use Present Perfect Tense to express already or have been. 

◾ Sentence Patterns 

πŸ’¬ For Subject : I , You , They , We .

     Subject + Have + Past Participle ( Verb 3 ) 

πŸ’¬ For Subject : He , She , It 

     Subject + Has + Past Participle ( Verb 3 )

◾ Application 

1. Express recurring incident or action

    When the accident has happened more than once in the past. 

     Example : i have seen this movie three times,

2.Usually use with "for" and "since "

  " for " following with duration of time. Ex: for 5 times, for 3 times , etc.

 " Since " following with Particular time. Ex ; Since i was child,Since i came here,etc.

3. Use with negative adverb " never "

Example : 

✅  i have never been to paris

❌ i did never  go to paris 

4. When using the present perfect interrogative  sentence pattern with "ever"

  Example : have u ever won the lottery?
